ACM Multimedia 2011 invites proposals for panel sessions on timely and potentially controversial issues in the area of multimedia arts, authoring and production, human and social aspects, systems and economics. The submission should include the title of the panel, a short statement on its importance, relevance, and the potential issues of controversy, a tentative list of questions that will be posed to the panelists, a list of participants along with their affiliations, and a short bio of each participant. Panel proposals should be submitted electronically on or before May 20, 2011. The authors will be notified of a decision by June 27, 2011. Short panel summaries of up to two pages will appear in the conference proceedings.
