SIGMM Award for Outstanding Technical Contributions to Multimedia Computing, Communications and Applications

The 2011 winner of this year's award is Dr. Shih-Fu Chang, professor at Columbia University. He receives the award for pioneering research and inspiring contributions in multimedia analysis and retrieval.
