Report from ED-Media 2011Ed-Media is an international conference on "Educational Multimedia, Hypermedia & Telecommunication". It is one of the largest international conferences on these topics. This year it was held in Lisbon, Portugal. This article presents a historical overview of Ed-Media and an overview of the 2011 edition. |

Open Source Column: LIRe - A Java Library for Content Based Image RetrievalContent based image retrieval (CBIR) has been for quite some time a hot research topic.
