Panels Program
Scope
ACM MM 2009 panels should be on the topics of current and increasing interest. The topic may be a controversial topic or a topic that has not yet received much attention, but is rapidly gaining importance. Recently, significant changes in multimedia research and development landscape have taken place in order to deal with large scale data centers, user generated media data, and media rich mobile devices.
It is expected that expert panelists will express their views on the topic of panel and discuss with other panelists and the audience their views and experiences. The panels at ACM MM 2009 are not an avenue for panelists to present their own personal research or a narrow scope research project.
