Online registration has closed on Oct. 18. Onsite registration by cash (JPY only) / credit-card (Visa, Master Card, JCB, Amex, and Diners) is possible.
However, accommodation should be booked on your own from now on. See the end of this page for useful links.

Registration details

Full registration includes

  • admission to all ACMMM2012 sessions including workshops and tutorials
  • 1 electronic copy of the ACMMM2012 proceedings
  • 1 banquet ticket
  • lunch tickets

Workshop only includes

  • admission to ACMMM2012 workshops and tutorials
  • 1 electronic copy of the ACMMM2012 proceedings

Notes:

* Student registration does NOT include a banquet ticket.

* All participants can attend the welcome reception.

Registration policy

    • Each accepted paper at ACMMM2012 must be covered by at least one author’s registration. Only covered papers will be included in the conference proceedings.
    • Registration deadlines for covering a main conference paper and a workshop paper are July 30th and August 15th, respectively.
    • The papers accepted at the Doctoral Symposium Program or the Multimedia Grand Challenge Program (only if the first author is a student　and the presenter) can be covered by a student registration. All other papers need ACM member or ACM non-member registration for being covered.
    • There are limits for maximum number of papers that can be covered by each registration. Each main conference full registration can cover at most 1 main conference ‘full paper’ or collectively 2 ‘non-full papers’. One workshop paper can also be covered by one workshop registration.
      Notes:
      * A ‘full paper’ includes a main conference full paper and a brave new idea.
      * A ‘non-full paper’ includes all other papers than the ‘full paper’ ; a short paper, a demo paper, a workshop paper, a video program, an art exhibition, a doctoral symposium program, a grand challenge, and an open source software competition.
      * In the registration procedure,

use the paper id provided by Sheridan Printing, and NOT the CMT ID#.

VISA to Japan

      if neccessary.

Payment method

Payments must be made in Japanese Yen. Only credit cards and bank transfers are available.

Cancellation / Refund policy

Registrations covering accepted papers are not cancellable. All other cancellations received before September 30th 23:59(UTC -8) will be subject to a 20,000 Japanese Yen cancellation fee. No refund will be made after September 30th.

Responsibility

    • The organizers of ACMMM2012 cannot accept any liability for personal accidents, loss or damage of the private property of the participants nor of damages caused by them to others or others’ properties during the Conference and its accompanying events.
    • The registration does not include any form of insurance. Conference participants are therefore responsible for making their own insurance arrangements.
