Call for Panel Proposals

Overview

ACM Multimedia 2012 invites proposals for panel sessions on timely and potentially controversial issues in all areas of multimedia: content analysis, systems, emerging applications, industry trends, technical breakthroughs, user needs, and social aspects.

Submission Guideline
The submission should include the title of the panel, a short statement on its importance, relevance, and the potential issues of controversy, a tentative list of questions that will be posed to the panelists, a list of participants along with their affiliations, and a short bio of each participant.

Panel proposals should be submitted electronically to the panel chairs. Short panel summaries of up to two pages will appear in the conference proceedings.

  • Deadline of Web-materials:   July 30, 2012 (Should be sent to the Web & Social Media chairs)
