Getting to Toronto, Canada
Toronto is a major metropolitan city in North America, and can be easily accessible by air from most of the major cities around the world, many of them with non-stop flights. Most of the airlines operate from the Toronto Pearson International Airport (airport code YYZ). To reach Toronto from Halifax, Ottawa, Montreal, Chicago, Boston, and New York City, one can also choose Porter Airlines, which operates from the Toronto City Centre Airport (airport code YTZ). Via Rail operates daily train schedules from most cities in Ontario and Quebec, arriving in the Union Station in downtown Toronto.
Airport Shuttle
Airport Express operates frequent shuttle services between the Toronto Pearson International Airport and downtown Toronto. The one-way fare is $20 CAD, and the round-trip fare is $33 CAD.
Visa Requirements
You may or may not need a Temporary Resident Visa to visit Canada, depending on your citizenship. If you are prepared to take the TTC subway system in Toronto, the nearest subway station is the Museum station, which is only a 4-minute walk from the Hart House.
