Call for Contribution to SIGMM Educational Portal

Dear colleagues:

It is our great pleasure to launch the exciting SIGMM Educational Portal in order to promote educational related resource sharing among the multimedia community. We plan to build a comprehensive destination for information such as multimedia-related degree programs, courses, audio/video materials, and textbooks. Till now, we as a committee have collected some information and made it available at

http://www.sigmm.org/Education.

In continuing these efforts, we strongly believe that the active participation from the whole community will make this portal grow more significantly. Hence, we would like you to share with us additional contents and join us in catering the knowledge to the multimedia community.

Basically, any materials related to but not necessarily limited to the following will be welcome:

• Multimedia-related degree programs, tracks, and concentrations

• Multimedia-related courses, training workshops, and summer schools

• Multimedia-related audio/video materials for educational/research purposes

• Multimedia-related textbooks

Please send the related information to education@sigmm.org with appropriate URLs to the courses and programs. Furthermore, if you have any comments or suggestions for the portal website, please feel free to email us. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated.
