* members at large are nominated by SIGMM Conference Director and
approved by SIGMM Executive Committee. Special attention shall be made
to ensure balanced representation of industry, academia, geographic
areas, and technical areas. Each member serves a fixed term of 3 years.
For the first year, 3 at-large members are nominated and will step down
after 3 years. Starting year 2, one additional member at large will be
added.

* Committee members are expected to attend ACMMM conference frequently,
at least once every two years. They are also strongly encouraged to
attend the chair-to-chair meeting during the conference.
