Every year, SIGMM and its flagship conference ACM MM offers many ways to participate in the Arts and Digital Culture program.  Primarily, this is the opportunity to participate in the Technical Program (by submitting a long or short paper) or submitting an Art Exhibit (which can be a full installation, a projection piece, or even digital circuits and e-textiles).

Technical Program

The ACM MM Arts & Digital culture program accepts technical papers in arts, culture, and entertainment across a broad variety of topic areas.  You should also read the article on How to write a great Interactive Arts technical paper.

Art Exhibits

Each year, the arts program calls for art submissions.  Generally this can be a full gallery submission; occasionally it is a less traditional exhibiton format.  If you are interested in submitting, check the current year's conference website for their current call for artwork.  You also may wish to plan ahead and apply for some funding (see the next section on this page).
