Athens Sightseeing (half day tour)

An excellent way to get to know one of the oldest cities in the world!

Depart for Panathinaiko Stadium, cradle of the first Olympic Games that took place in 1896 (short stop).

Pass by the Prime's Ministers residence, Ex Royal Palace, (guarded by the colourful Evzones) Zappion (Conference and Exhibition Hall), National Garden, Hadrian's Arc, St. Paul's Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schlieman's House (Nomismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Academy, University, National Library, Old Parliament, Constitution Square ,Russian Orthodox Church, Acropolis visit Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon and Erechtheion.

Athens by night (half day tour)

The tour starts with a visit to the main Greek port of Piraeus, passing by the most important points of the city (City Hall, picturesque yacht's harbour of Microlimano etc). Following the principal avenues and passing by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, National Garden, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Catholic Cathedral, Academy, University, National Library, Old Parliament we arrive at Plaka

Short pleasant walk through the old unique Athens city to one of the popular taverns for dinner with live bouzouki music and Greek folk dances

Cape Sounio (half day tour)

Depart for a wonderful drive along the scenic coastal road which offers a fantastic view of the Saronic Gulf, passing through some of Athens most beautiful suburbs (Glyfada,Vouliagmeni, Varkiza) to Cape Sounio where you will visit the 5th century B.C.
Temple of Poseidon with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world(on a
clear day you can see at least seven islands).

Ancient Corinth and Wine Tasting

Driving along the coastal road, we reach Corinth canal (short stop). Drive to the Ancient
Corinth
where St. Paul lived and preached. Ancient Corinth was one of the most important
cities of ancient Greece. We will visit the Agora and One of the most outstanding monuments
of pre -Roman period, the temple of Apollo. Then we will continue to visit one of the most
famous vineries of Nemea. Greece may well possess first place in the hierarchy of countries
known for their tradition in viticulture. Not only is this due to Greeks producing wine since the
Neolithic Age - 4000 B.C. - but also to the fact that wine has long been adored, praised and
chanted in the name of god Dionysus.

Nowadays, Greek wine production, abiding by tradition but invigorated by modem
technology, offers a wide variety of fine wines. Nemea is one of the most popular vineyards in
Greece. We will visit the state of the art winery facilities. We will learn everything for the
production of Greek quality red wine and then we will proceed to the underground cellars
with more than 1000 French oak barriques. Finally we will taste some of the wines of the
domain.

Delphi (one day tour)

After leaving Athens ,we continue through Thebes, Levadia (short stop) and Arachova for Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. Pass by Castalia Spring, visit at the archaeological site the Temple of Apollo famous for its oracle and the Museum of Delphi, with it's spectacular finds, including the bronze Charioteer, the Naxian Sphinx and the
Statue of Antinoos.

After lunch we return to Athens via the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, built on the south slopes of Parnassus, well known for its attractive hand-woven carpets, rugs and quilts, as well as for its wine and cheese (short stop).

One Day Cruise around the Saronic Islands

Take a cruise to the fabulous Greek islands of Hydra, Poros and Egina for a relaxing day on
the sea!

After transferring from Athens to Piraeus by bus, we are off to the island of Hydra, where you'll
have free time for strolling, shopping and swimming.
Next, it's on to the island of Egina, passing through the narrow passage separating the
Peloponnesian coast from the island of Poros.

Upon arrival in Egina you can either join an excursion to the Temple of Aphaia or take a walk
around the main town. Egina is one of the Saronic islands of Greece in the Saronic Gulf. The
lovely island is only 50 km from Athens, and is a popular getaway for Athenians.

We will enjoy our lunch on board, after lunch our journey will continue to Poros in the southern
Agrosaronic Gulf. You'll have free time to explore Poros - perhaps you'd like to visit
ancient Trizina, the ruins of the Russian Dockyard or take a romantic stroll in the Lemon forest.
Our visit to Poros will be the last stop on our journey, after which we will return to
Athens.
